Audiologists

Dawn Kovacik, M.A., CCC-A

Dawn, audiologist and part owner of Jefferson Hearing Aid has been involved in the hearing health care field for over 27 years. She received her Master's Degree in Audiology from Ball State University in Muncie Indiana.

Until recently when the owner retired, Dawn worked as a clinical audiologist for ENT Surgical Associates in both their office and hospital settings. She also worked as a fill-in audiologist for the Public Schools. During her employment with ENT, Dawn gained valuable experience in audiology, vestibular rehabilitation and hearing aid prescriptions and fittings.

In June of 2007, Dawn purchased Jefferson Hearing Aid from ENT Surgical Associates and now specializes in Audiology and Hearing Aid fittings. She continues to accumulate many continuing education hours in both fields of diagnostics and hearing aid technology. Dawn is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology and the Illinois Academy of Audiology.

Stacy Lambin, M.A., CCC-A

Stacy has been providing professional audiological services to the Joliet community since 2002. More recently, she became part owner of Jefferson Hearing Aid in 2007. She graduated from Saint Xavier University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 and with her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Western Michigan University in 2002.

Stacy has a particular interest in pediatric audiology and has closely worked with the hearing impaired students of the Joliet Public School system as well as those in surrounding school districts. In addition, she was the audiologist for the cleft lip and palate team at Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago from 2003-2005.

Through training seminars and association conventions, she keeps current on the latest in hearing aid technology, diagnostics and rehabilitation. Stacy is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology and the Illinois Academy of Audiology.
